Output - Matched File

  Previous Article Next Article

This output contains duplicate records at the top and then non duplicate records below. This makes it easy to review the duplicates and decide on which record(s) from a set of matching records you want to remove. It's also convenient for identifying any false duplicate too. At the end of your manual review, you should have a cleaned, deduped data file.

Output format: "group|basescore|highest score|duplicates|record"

  • "group" indicates the unique ref of the group's master/best record.
  • "basescore" indicates the lowest scoring matching pair within a matching group.
  • "highest score" indicates the highest scoring matching pair within a matching group.
  • "duplicates" - number of duplicate records within a matching group (excludes the master record).
  • "record" refers to a matching record within the group.
